Unique Perspective

Having an education in the theoretical world of politics allows me to see the world from a more intentional perspective. As the general population has become more politically aware over the pandemic, whether you see it as good or bad, means that everyone, even your company, needs to become more politically aware. Or at the least, appear as though you are politically active.

The old saying of “put your money where your mouth is” has become a staple of the upcoming generations. If your company is not taking a stand, you may be seen as part an old and dying breed for new consumers. Though if you take too many stances, you may lose consumers for their opinions conflicting with what you are stating.

Simply put, I can help you evaluate the political ideology and psychographics of your publics and help you choose not just better messaging for those people, but also specific achievable goals for your organization to put into motion that will garner both publicity and people that support your organizations “why” along with your “what.”

 

Nuance

Along with the pandemic and the general population becoming more politically aware, the general public has also come to understand that nuance is in everything.

The old Marketing and PR techniques used to rely upon simple messaging, and while simple and direct messaging is important. It is just as important to show that there is nuance to both your organizations “why” along with its “what” and “how.”

Understanding that the world is not built upon simple building blocks and that everything is a complex and dynamic system building upon itself is key to treating consumers as though they are also a complex and dynamic being. When you begin to treat your consumers as though they are also as interesting as your organization is they will treat you with the same respect.

They deserve nuance through every step of your creative process along with transparency and a commitment to your organizations goals and mission.

 

Creativity

Having a background in both woodworking and graphic design allows me to see both the digital and physical sides of creativity. If PR is anything, it is finding creative solutions for unique opportunities, along with using that creativity to look ahead at possible issues and turning them into opportunities before they can become a problem.

 

Connecting People with Technology

Experience with creating platforms that allow people with unique interests to communicate on about those interests. Connecting people by USING technology instead of disconnecting people because of technology.

 

Profit and People

Understanding that people need to be treated not as means to an end, but as an end in themselves. When you and your workers are given the opportunity to be seen and treated like they are not just valuable for their work, but also for who they are creates workers that want to stay with you longer. These workers then want to work hard along with becoming an advocate for you both in and out of the workplace.

 

Active Reflection & Growth

Being able to look back as much as you are looking forward is so important in this day and age. That and to actively reflect upon what you and your organization has done in the past. Being able to ask yourself what the effects of what has been done, and what could have been done better. Doing this actively and being able to recognize where growth is needed and what has been done well. All of this while checking with the current culture, issues, legislation, and missions of your organization facilitates active growth.
